Gisele Reid
Principal Solicitor
Gisele was born in Sao Paulo and commenced her legal studies in Brazil before moving to Australia in 2007. She completed her Bachelor of Laws degree at Bond University in 2012 before subsequently being admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.
She has practised extensively in Family Law and Migration Law, and is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the Family Law Practitioners Association, the Gold Coast District Law Association and the Migration Institute of Australia. Gisele is equipped with expertise in Migration Law, Matrimonial and De Facto Property Settlements, Financial Agreements, Divorce applications and Parenting issues.
Gisele’s experience also extends to Commercial and Retail Leasing, Conveyancing, Wills & Estates. She is fluent in Portuguese and is committed to assisting clients who prefer to communicate in that language. She also has a broad network of translators and interpreters available to assist those of other origin.
Kelen Chambers
International Family & Migration Law Practitioner
Kelen Chambers joined us this year to practise in the fields of International Family Law and Migration Law. Kelen is originally from Sao Paulo Brazil. She completed a Bachelor of Laws degree in Brazil in 2001 and in Australia in 2024. Admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2024, she has also completed Graduate Diploma in Migration Law for which she was awarded the Griffith Award of Academic Excellence Kelen has gained professional experience across Corporate, Administrative, and Financial Law, including at the Reserve Bank of Brazil. In Australia, she has worked in a private family law firm and has also gained over three years of hands-on legal experience in Community Legal Centres, supporting diverse and vulnerable communities in a non-solicitor capacity.
Alex Cameron
Conveyancer
Alex brings nearly two decades of experience studying and working in Brisbane and its surrounding areas. He holds a law degree from Griffith University, having earned an early admission offer after excelling in two university subjects during high school. Specializing in property law and settlement work, Alex has dedicated his career to conveyancing.
With a wealth of experience, Alex has handled countless residential purchase and sale matters in Brisbane, Ipswich, and more recently, the Gold Coast and across Queensland. He prides himself on being an accessible, single point of contact for clients, guiding them from contract review to settlement.
Known for his clear and prompt communication, Alex ensures a smooth and streamlined settlement process for buyers and sellers by maintaining open dialogue with clients, real estate agents, brokers, and lenders.
Mariana Daquanno
Case Manager
Originally from Brazil, Mariana is a legal professional with over eight years of experience, specializing in business law, with additional expertise in banking law and securities. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Law, and has recently expanded her knowledge and skills in Australia. Fluent in Portuguese and English, Mariana brings strong legal research abilities, client relationship management, and experience coordinating settlements and managing high-volume legal transactions.
Pauline
Immigration Paralegal
Pauline holds a Bachelor of Accounting from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde and brings a sharp eye for detail and a calm, organised presence to our busy immigration team. She supports the team with day-to-day casework and thrives on the variety the role offers, no two client stories are ever the same, and that’s exactly what she loves most.
When she’s not working, Pauline’s world revolves around her young son, her very talkative one-year-old, and her feisty little Pomeranian — the real boss of the household.
